Mana is provided by Mana Medical Technologies Inc., a Delaware corporation, 111 NE 1st St, 8th Floor, Miami, FL 33132 (“Mana,” “we,” “us”). The app is developed by Mana Medical Ltd in the United Kingdom. We build digital tools to support people living with long-term autoimmune conditions. If you use Mana in the United Kingdom, the UK Terms of Use apply instead.
By creating an account or using the Mana app in the United States (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms. The US Privacy Notice and the Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy explain how we use your data; they are notices, not contract terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be at least 18 years old.
Your consent to our collecting and using your health data is given separately, on a dedicated screen in the app, and is not part of accepting these Terms.
Mana lets you record how you feel, track symptoms and medications, add notes, voice notes and photos of your hands, connect Apple Health or a wearable if you choose to, and see your own trends. Each month you receive a report drafted from your data by an AI model and checked by a member of Mana staff, which you can share with people you choose, such as your clinician. Reminders are set by you and are general-purpose; Mana does not adjust medication schedules or doses.
Parts of the Service may be in a beta phase, which means features may change, may not work as expected, and data accuracy is not guaranteed. If you have been invited to a beta program, the Beta Program Terms also apply and take precedence for the beta.
Mana does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. It has not been reviewed by the FDA. The scores, trends, and summaries the app shows are informational and are derived from data you and your devices provide. Some summaries are generated by an AI model from your own data and are not reviewed by a clinician unless you share them. They are not a substitute for professional medical advice. Never disregard professional medical advice, or delay seeking it, because of something the app shows you.
If you think you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911.
Cressa Clinic (Mana Rheumatology, P.A., a Florida professional association qualified to do business in Arizona and owned by licensed physicians) is a separate medical practice that may use the Mana app as part of your care. Your relationship with the clinic is governed by the clinic’s own documents (telehealth informed consent, patient services agreement, and Notice of Privacy Practices), not by these Terms. These Terms continue to govern your use of the app itself. If the clinic’s documents and these Terms conflict in relation to your care, the clinic’s documents control.
What we collect and why is described in the US Privacy Notice. You keep ownership of the information you put into Mana. You grant us the license needed to operate the Service: to store, process, and display your information back to you and to those you direct us to share it with, and, if you give the separate research consent, to use it as that consent describes. The license ends when you delete your account, except for anonymized data that can no longer be linked to you and, if you gave the research consent, the coded research copy it describes.
You confirm that the information you enter is about you and accurate to the best of your knowledge. Do not enter health information about another person.
Keep your login details secure and do not share your account. Tell us promptly at support@cressaclinic.com if you believe someone else has accessed it.
You agree not to:
We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
The app, its design, and its software are ours or our licensors’. These Terms give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your own personal, non-commercial use. They transfer no ownership. If you send us feedback or suggestions, you grant us the right to use them without obligation to you.
If you downloaded Mana from the Apple App Store or Google Play, the store’s terms also apply. Apple and Google are not parties to these Terms, have no obligation to furnish maintenance or support for the app, and are not responsible for any claim relating to the app, including product liability, consumer protection, or intellectual property claims. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a US government embargo and are not on any US government list of prohibited parties.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and we do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any score, trend, or summary is accurate. Some states do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so some of the above may not apply to you.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for any health decision you make in reliance on the app, because the app does not give medical advice. Some states do not allow the limitation of liability for certain damages, so some of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
You agree to indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from within the app; deletion removes your data as described in the US Privacy Notice. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, where the law requires it, or if we discontinue the Service, with reasonable notice where we can so you can export your data. Sections that by their nature survive termination (your data, as to anonymized data; intellectual property; warranties; limitation of liability; indemnity; dispute resolution) survive.
If you have a problem, please contact us first at support@cressaclinic.com and we will try to resolve it within 30 days. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute about these Terms or the website will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you agree to their jurisdiction. Nothing in this section takes away any protection you have under the consumer laws of the state where you live, and you may bring an eligible claim in your local small claims court.
We may update these Terms. The version number and date at the top change when we do, and the app will ask you to accept a new version before continuing when the changes are substantive. For material changes we will give at least 30 days’ notice by email or in the app.
We may assign these Terms to an affiliate or successor; we will tell you if we do. You may not assign them. If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service.
